The Tuscarora Oil Company pipeline was one of the first long distance oil pipelines. It passed here on its east-west run. The large brick building here was a pumping station for the pipeline. The pumps were powered by EBT coal, brought in off a spur at this site.

The station, long out of use, is used for farm storage. The station can be easily seen from Pump Station Road.
