EBT: Rockhill Furnace to Saltillo

This portion of the line was built between the spring of 1873 and the summer of 1874. B.J. McGrann and Company of Lancaster graded the route, Coffrode and Company of Philadelphia built the bridges and Thomas Keenan was awarded the tracklaying. The line reenters the Aughwick Creek watershed and ascends the Three Springs Creek watershed, swinging south of Jacks Mountain and back north to Saltillo. Although the track has reversed direction at Saltillo, towards Robertsdale is still considered southbound.
