What is the List?

This list is for DISCUSSION and as such, posts may be opinionated and there is no guarantee of factuality. When one user sends mail to the list, all the other subscribers to the list get a copy of it. The list can be set to combine all mail for a user in a given day into a single indexed message.

List guidelines will be sent to subscribers.

The EBT-Announce Announcement List

The EBT-Announce list is for the distribution of announcements concerning the East Broad Top, the last original narrow gauge railroad east of the Rockies. Its purpose is to encourage the distibution of EBT news, announcements and event information in order to broaden the interest in the EBT.

What is the List?

This list is for ANNOUNCEMENTS and as such, there are NO discussions, opinions or converstations on EBT-Announce. EBT-Announce is totally moderated and only important or periodic announcements are sent to the list. All posts sent to the EBT-announce are reviewed by the moderator/administrator. This is in stark contrast to the EBT-List which allows open discussion. If you chose to leave the EBT-List because of the excessive volume of messages, EBT-Announce may be the choice for you. Message frequency is considerably smaller on EBT-Announce.
