The purpose of this list is to offer a potential entry into the hobby all the information on gauge and scale he/she could possibly want. This list is always developing, so do not take it as the gospel truth. I need your input to make it more complete and accurate.
This attempts to represent model railroads, scale and collectible. I've tried to include only manufacturers who produce a reasonable product line to keep the list manageable. Theoretical Gauge shows the exact model gauge that corresponds to the prototype gauge being modeled. This is only meaningful for US models since they are (usually) modeled on specific gauges, unlike NEM specifications. It is organized by scale name, then gives all the different defined ratios for it, and then gives specs on each gauge used in the scale. I've tried to base this info on NMRA and NEM definitions first while including other national and corporate definitions.
